What Tiny Desk AI collects, what happens to your photos, and the promises we keep.

Last updated: 2026-10-28

The short version

Tiny Desk AI turns a lead-singer photo of you into a short tiny desk concert video, with the site's house-band characters filling the rest of the band. Any band-member photos you upload take their place instead. Your photos are used only to generate your video, are never published or shared, and are automatically deleted 7 days after upload. You buy credits once — there is no subscription.

What we collect

  1. Account information — your name and email address, from the sign-in method you choose (for example Google One-Tap or email). We need an account so your videos and purchases stay yours.
  2. Your photos — the lead-singer photo you upload, plus any band-member photos you choose to upload in place of the house characters. They are processed by us and by our video-generation provider — which serves the video model Seedance 2.0, developed by ByteDance — solely to render your video. They are not used to train models, not shown to other users, and not published anywhere.
  3. Your videos — the finished videos are stored so you can play and download them again from your account page.
  4. Payment information — handled entirely by our payment providers (such as Stripe or Creem). We never see or store your full card details.
  5. Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type) kept for security and abuse prevention.

What happens to your photo

  • Photos are deleted automatically 7 days after upload. You do not need to ask.
  • Until then they are stored privately and used only to generate the videos you ordered.
  • If a generation fails, your credits are returned automatically — your photo is not kept hostage for a video that never arrived.

What happens to your videos

Your finished videos stay available on your account page so a closed tab never costs you a video: each one is stored for 7 days from the moment it is generated, then deleted automatically. They belong to you: download them, post them anywhere, and contact us if you want them deleted sooner.

Third-party copies, honestly

Rendering happens at an AI video provider, and that provider keeps its own short-lived working copies of what we send it. Those copies are outside our deletion window — we cannot delete them for you — and they expire on the provider's own schedule (roughly two weeks). The same goes for caches along the way: "deleted from this site" means exactly that, and physical deletion of every backup copy can lag slightly behind.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not publish your photo or your video without your action.
  • We do not send marketing emails; there are no newsletters to opt out of.

Cookies

The site needs essential cookies for sign-in to work. Optional analytics cookies load only after you accept them in the cookie banner.

One honest disclaimer
